By marking these occasions together, we strengthen our commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by autism and mental health conditions.

3rd – 9th February

Children’s Mental Health Week

This week is crucial for highlighting the importance of emotional wellbeing in young people. We’ll be hosting special workshops and activities designed to empower children and their families, focusing on building resilience and understanding mental health.

17th – 23rd March

Neurodiversity Celebration Week

Join us as we celebrate the unique strengths and capabilities of neurodiverse individuals. Our programme includes parent forums, educational sessions, and fun social activities that showcase the talents and perspectives of our community members.

April

Neurodiversity Awareness Month

Throughout April, we’re running a series of events and workshops aimed at increasing understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity in our community. This month-long celebration aligns perfectly with our mission of promoting social inclusion and supporting families.

2nd April

World Autism Awareness Day

A significant date in our calendar where we focus on raising public awareness about autism. We’ll be hosting special events that bring together families, professionals, and supporters to share experiences and knowledge while celebrating the unique perspectives of individuals with autism.

June

8th June

Jane Tomlison’s Run for all Hull 10k

With a brand new route to enjoy, and free places available for this exciting event, why not do up your laces and come and represent Aim Higher as we raise money and awareness for a range of local charities.

18th June

Autistic Pride Day

On the same day every year, this is a great day to showcase your pride in neurodiversity and autism.

July

11th July

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

For those who love an adventure, Aim Higher have organised a challenging trek across the famous Yorkshire three peaks. With 24 miles to cover and 5000 ft of ascent, this is not a challenge for the faint hearted. If it sounds like something you may be interested, £60 is all it takes for a bed the night before plus a guide on the day.

25th July

Charity Golf Day

If you love a round of golf, then this event is a great way for you to practice your swing and raise funds for Aim Higher. With an auction, raffle, buffer, plus a bacon sandwich on arrival, this promises to be a fun-filled event.

Aim Higher Charity Ball 2025

Join our team at our annual charity ball. Taking place at the MKM Stadium in Hull, this is a chance to find out more about our work, say a few words, and enjoy a lovely evening. There are a wide range of sponsorship packages available so get in touch with our team to find out more.
