Aim Higher is thrilled to announce that we have been granted £9190 from The Brelms Trust, a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The trust, originally established as a Charitable Trust in 2007, offers grants to a wide variety of charities operating in the community. Funding is exclusively provided to charities based in Yorkshire and directly benefits Yorkshire communities.
The funding will be distributed over three years and will be utilised for our “Neurodiversity Schools Awareness Project.” Our goal is to visit sixty schools in Hull and East Riding as part of this project, providing awareness and support through activities such as coffee mornings for parents and carers, talks for staff, and assemblies for the whole school or specific classes. The aim is to raise awareness about neurodiversity within schools, which will then extend to the local community, fostering inclusivity and acceptance of children and young people in society.
An email will be sent out in the coming weeks to offer schools this amazing opportunity to best support their students and families.
Kind regards,
Nicola Robinson
