Aim Higher and Automotive skills academy were chosen by the new elected Hull Lord Mayor Maria Coward to be a charity of the year.
Maria was presented by the previous Lord Mayor Cheryl Payne to stand at Lord Mayor in the wake of her retirement.
Gill and Nicola were formally invited to join the Lord Mayor in her installation process at the Guildhall in Hull, this was followed by a delicious three course meal on the top table as guests. During the service the history of the Lord Mayor of Hull was talked about with passion and drive to make Hull a great city.
This was an extremely proud moment for the charity and really look forward to working with both Automotive Skills academy and Lord Mayor Maria Coward.
